The only thing I don't like about it is the fix turbo tail, I prefer the stock retractable tail. I also don't like the blacked out tail lights. I love the tan interior, anything but the light grey interior which doesn't age so well.

So as my hunt is ongoing fo the right .1 S coupe, manual, <50k.... i see prices ALL over the map $30-55k
anyone seeing a real market value? Clearly the 30k is higher milage, but 50+ is getting into .2 territory

I'm in the same boat as you. All the major classified websites I've notice says "fair price" within high $30k to low 40k's for an S coupe.

Where are you shopping?

I'm in the DFW area in TX and willing to travel within 500 miles for a nice 997.1. My ideal 911 is the macadamia with sand beige interior, S coupe or C4, absolutely no convertible which is unfortunate because I see a lot with good prices. I prefer the 6sp manual but can live with a tiptronic, sports chrono, Bose and navigation. I'm not too picky on the options or color/combo if the price is right. All the color/combo looks great as long as it's clean and mechanically solid is my main concern. What about you?

I know that this is a 991. But: no details posted, and the price seems too good to be true...

You can rest assured that any car on craigslist $20K lower than market with dicey info is a scam...
