The Aero isn't listed on the build sheet and it sold here on Rennlist not long ago at $54k

I understand why they're asking so much though

"This 997.2 has the highly sought after Aero Package and also the rare Sport Chrono Package Plus."

Rare!🤣

And it has launch control! These guys know their Porsches! Getting launch control on a manual is super rare!

Yeah, that price seems a bit over the top. For a more reasonable price, I would definitely consider it given everything else checks out. Who wouldn’t pass on the rare sports chronic+, with launch control, no less?

Ad and car looks good. Price seems fair.

May want to review the spelling (Bilstein)...

Good luck with the sale.

My 6MT has launch control, I use it at every stop. Put it in first, lift the clutch while pressing the throttle... Works every time. It's the rare "neuron powered" option, not as spectacular looking as the PDK version maybe.

On the surface it looks like a pretty good deal to me. Perhaps worth taking a closer look and PPI if you are serious about it.

I saw it last night and I would love to check it out but I'm on the other side of the coast... How would you guys move?

It checks all the boxes, I'm not expecting a garage queen but I'm worried for some surprises...

I agree. Got enough miles to not have to worry about trying to preserve value, and should be a fun car with a little bump in power and wider hips, to boot.

I’d contact the dealer, get a PPI and see what that says. I wish I was ready to pull the trigger right now because this would be a nice catch

I contacted them last night but it's Thanksgiving... How do. You do a PPI being thousands miles away? I have no experience...

Maybe somebody in the area on this forum can recommend a shop, but you can try google searching for shops and check their ratings. Contact the shop, let the dealer know you’re interested pending a PPI. They may not want the car to leave their lot so the mechanic may have to go to the car. Ideally you want the dealer to take the car to the shop. Just logistics to work out. I’ve done one on an M3 years back that was about 2 hours away that I couldn’t get to because of work. People do it all the time, tho so the dealer should be understanding.

You should reach out to Doug H on this forum. I believe he's located in that area and can provide some guidance. (You'll see posts from him earlier in this thread.)

True, he should definitely be able to tell you where to go for a PPI. He may have some knowledge on the car itself, he seems to know a lot of folks in that area.

I would be looking very closely at that GTS if I wasn't so happy with what I've got.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone.
