Well Platinum warranty says it's covered for the next 2 year / 30k miles. Not my car but that's what's being passed.

"Platinum" what, which vendor?

How did the car reach 600 horsepower anyway? Is the warranty provider aware of those modifications and do they explicitly cover them?

Price sounds a bit normal (not a great deal given that 50,000 mile service is coming up). However, it is a well-executed black on black car with full leather, manual w/sport shifter, sports chrono, Bose and navigation. Will post buildsheet later.

Not sure whether Xenon lights were standard on an S in 2006. If not that would be a nitpick.

Some warranty companies like the one CarMax uses don't ask any questions about mods.

Very nice car, priced a little high approaching 997 GTS/Turbo and 991 territory but low 50's this is a good buy.

Nice looking car. I'm guessing dealer did CPO assessment as part of the GT3 deal he mentioned and maybe they are offering something like $50k and he figures he can do better? Given the scarcity of 997.2 C4S MT, I'm surprised he didn't try something with broader visibility than Craig's list.
