This 997.2 GT3 is a steal if that accident is as minor as the seller says. $89,000 and 10K miles.

Any input on this one? Nicely optioned though it probably started life as a dealer loaner car/demo or something given it was a CPO before the first owner.

If it speaks to you I would try to get a couple grand off.

Yea, I felt it was a bit high as well. Saw another 2011 PDK with 26k miles that had a winning bid of 45k. Though, I think my concern is that this was a dealer vehicle in the first 9000 miles. Whether it was a loaner or a demo, those cars get driven hard.

Is the Momentum Houston car? Yeah, it is a wreck: tons of track time, new engine due to money shift, completely aftermarket suspension. If you want a discounted ready to track car, it probably represents good value at $85k or so.

What's on your shopping list @John Curtis...besides 6MT?!
PS pertaining to this thread's topic: I beginning to sense that the 997.2 prices are beginning to converge with the early 991.1 cars. as it seems like there are many peeps lurking like @John Curtis who are interested in getting into the 997, although I suspect that I could also be wrong here because I really don't know what could push someone into the 991.1 or the other direction, although I may have some ideas but I digress...
There seem like many more 991.1 on the market vs 997.2, no? Early morning (probably meaningless) ramblings here, so push me back (@raidersfan et al) if you think that I'm just blowing smoke...

Before @John Curtis gets away from a perfect entrance -- give and ye shall be rewarded -- this is in fact, what the community was more typically back when it was 1st launched / re-launched (and oftentimes still is. as John & many others here illustrate), I just wanted to thank him for knowing how to make an entrance...now let's get him into a 997 !

What he said...while searching for a 911 for over the last 6 months I have found the clean 3.8 MT cars are appreciating. Who knows if it will last.

My shopping list is short but without much wiggle room. Must haves are blue exterior (cobalt is best), manual transmission, and non-salvage/branded title. I can turn a wrench with the help of you tube and am not scared off by something that could use some sorting cosmetically or has some mileage.

I really haven’t been looking for 991.1, as the 997 looks slightly better to me and has been on my list for a while, but I do find 997.2 much harder to find than 997.1, especially with the third pedal.
