Those are base model painted caliper along with base model black gauge faces. PSE is a nice options but was most likely added after the fact since there a separate exhaust button, and the "S" is just an emblem.

Black gauges were an option
Why would you think it is a base C2 other than the listing title?

I see nvm - those are S calipers

Not here to argue, just don't want anyone here jumping an "S" deal. Top one is painted base 997.2/991 caliper, bottom one is the 997.2 S red caliper. Completely different design.

Will be my first 911 if it works out!

Thanks! In some ways being a C2 makes that car desirable. It's def rare given if anything else given the spec- the original buyer added all the S options the base typically lacks (PASM, PSE, SC+, Turbo wheels, MFSW, clear tails)
The other car I posted is an S yet it has black calipers. There's some funky caliper situations going on this week.

Did you buy it? I also talked to the sales about it. But hesitate a bit and was told it is spoken for already

Im driving it home right now once I got out of California's hellacious traffic it was amazing.

Funny story - it showed up on the Porsche national inventory a few days ago but WAS NOT on their website at the time and I called and they told me it was sold. When it showed up on their website a day or two later I almost passed on it as an error. But I called the a few minutes after they opened after it was listed on their site.

I paid full price (58k) but they had four or five interested buyers in the first hour or so the salesman told me after I finished the purchase.

It's in pretty good condition, 32k miles, paint etc. Only one key and I can't find records that the 40k/4 year service was ever done so I'm probably going to have to eat that cost immediately.

I don't regret it though. Been looking for a 997.2 Targa for MONTHS

I'm not debating the merits of one model over the other, I'm simply asking from a future valuation standpoint.
See attached picture. My guess is that very few buyers choose the C4 or C4S over the C2 or C2S because of AWD instead of RWD. With few exceptions, all about those hips imo.

Seems like a decent deal on a higher mileage 2011 Turbo S
https://denver.craigslist.org/cto/d/...708951612.html
~54k miles and 77.5k asking price
From Ad:
WP0AD2A95BS766685

Black on black Turbo S. Center lock wheels. PDK. Tuned at 303. Tires have 20K on them. Carbon paddles, for next service: carbon brake pad set for when you need them, oil filter, new mats, old mats, torque wrench needed to take off centerllocks, and a Porsche Racing hat. *♂️

It's a REALLY nice car. I drive it daily (10 miles) and get compliments everywhere. I've owned it for a year and haven't had any problems with it. It's simply the MOST amazing car I've ever driven. This one is special.t

Nice! I have a 2008 Targa 4 and just love it. Everything you could ever want from a car and that roof/back is useful and wonderful on a sunny day. Have fun!
