Those are base model painted caliper along with base model black gauge faces. PSE is a nice options but was most likely added after the fact since there a separate exhaust button, and the "S" is just an emblem.

Why would you think it is a base C2 other than the listing title?
I see nvm - those are S calipers

Will be my first 911 if it works out!

The other car I posted is an S yet it has black calipers. There's some funky caliper situations going on this week.

I actually have a deposit on this car. I called them an hour after the ad went live on their website. Flying out there Friday. Targa has been the "dream" 911, I've been looking for 5 or 6 months and seen next to no 997.2 Targas in the entire Western US.

Funny story - it showed up on the Porsche national inventory a few days ago but WAS NOT on their website at the time and I called and they told me it was sold. When it showed up on their website a day or two later I almost passed on it as an error. But I called the a few minutes after they opened after it was listed on their site.
I paid full price (58k) but they had four or five interested buyers in the first hour or so the salesman told me after I finished the purchase.
It's in pretty good condition, 32k miles, paint etc. Only one key and I can't find records that the 40k/4 year service was ever done so I'm probably going to have to eat that cost immediately.
I don't regret it though. Been looking for a 997.2 Targa for MONTHS

Curious why some of you guys think the 997.1 C4S would hold value better than the C2S (assuming same low mileage, options and condition, of course)? I would think that the C2S would appeal more to the "purists", because of its lighter weight and rear wheel drive, and it is the purists that are most likely to pay a premium for a low mileage example of an old model. I'm not debating the merits of one model over the other, I'm simply asking from a future valuation standpoint.

Seems like a decent deal on a higher mileage 2011 Turbo S

Black on black Turbo S. Center lock wheels. PDK. Tuned at 303. Tires have 20K on them. Carbon paddles, for next service: carbon brake pad set for when you need them, oil filter, new mats, old mats, torque wrench needed to take off centerllocks, and a Porsche Racing hat. *♂️
It's a REALLY nice car. I drive it daily (10 miles) and get compliments everywhere. I've owned it for a year and haven't had any problems with it. It's simply the MOST amazing car I've ever driven. This one is special.t
