Whoa. Where and when did you get that? I got a quote from Mike for my 2009 with 50k miles and the 5/60 was $10k.

Does anyone know if the Fidelity "Powertrain Warranty" would be enough to cover a catastrophic IMS issue (and resulting engine replacement) on an '06 997?

Got it from Mike last week. From what I can tell, miles are the primary input in price result.

Default Mike at Mossy!

Pulled the trigger today:
07 Turbo 16.3k
7yr/70k Platinum $250 Deductible
$4374

I have no doubt this would have been 8-10k anywhere else...

Anyone know if you can DIY maintenance without voiding your warranty with Fidelity?

or, Does all maintenance have to be done at an authorized shop?

Looking at buying a 67k mileage 997TT, haven't started warranty shopping yet since sale is not final, but anyone have an idea how much I might be looking at for a powertrain vs. platinum Fidelity warranty for close to 5yrs/50k miles? If they'll even cover the car that is...

Fidelity won't cover a car older than ten years old. What year is your 997?
