I just purchased a Fidelity Gold 4/48 policy from Michael Bernardo for my newly purchased 2011 911s. Very simple process and he saved me $750 over other purchasing avenues for the same exact product! No inspection or other requirements - just VIN and mileage!

I get calls trying to sell me car warranties almost daily despite 6 spam blocker apps on my phone and being on the no call list since it was introduced. I've basically narrowed it down to the true and tried which as far as I know at this point is Fidelity (no affiliation). I'm sure someone has been less than satisfied with them too but I've had a number of policies with them and never had an issue. Can't remember reading anything negative about them either.
Car Shields spends a ton of money on TV ads bragging about them being the best and biggest after market car warranty company in the US. I called them out of curiosity to see how they stacked up against my Fidelity Platinum policy. What a joke. Due to the make and age of my car they could only offer their "aluminum" policy which basically just covers the engine and nothing else. And the price for that was higher than what I paid for Fidelity's Platinum policy which is more or less identical to CPO.
"Aluminum"? Should have hung up right there and then. Sums it up nicely in one word what they have to offer.

It seems that opinions are mixed on whether the power train warranty covers PDK failure but I’m rolling the dice because the cost is prohibitive for gold or platinum.
5 year/60k mile, $250 deductible for $3323. Not bad IMO for a 2009 C4 with 49k miles.
