Great job!! I like the red "S" too. BTW, your previous pics you blocked your tag, but last pic wasn't.
Thanks for the complement and the heads-up on the license. It's been replaced. I've never known if it was terribly important to do that, but I see a lot of others doing it. It seems somehow safer than not.
Here are a couple of other shots of interest. One shows that the install is a nice clean factory parts install on the deck lid, the second and third ones show a minor exception to that. The location of the MAF on the intake, even after trying to adjust position of the intake tube away from the fan was still lightly touching the base of the fan housing. It turns out that the housing seems to be just a shroud, maybe increasing the structural rigidity of the fan just a little? Removing it bought me the extra half inch clearance I needed to clear the MAF without touching. The fan seems study without it. This allowed me to avoid shifting the fan to the side with brackets as I saw someone had posted as their solution.
You can also see that the Fabspeed intake gives more than enough clear for the hydraulics to drop down when the lid is closing. The factory air box is actually surprisingly close to fitting between them, but not quite.
Just shows how different people can be! Have always thought my C4S looked wider than the Turbo S thanks to it not having the distracting rear wing. It is a clean, pure shape that makes it unmistakably a 911.
What is the purpose of painting the 'S' red? So people look at you more? I don't get it.

Are you really asking me that after I just bothered spending the time, effort, and money to put a wing on my car as a purely cosmetic upgrade?
But to directly answer your question. I think the red accent works nicely with the red calipers and red lights around the back of the car, especially the contrast against the silver (I never really preferred the silver on silver Carrera S that the car came with). Yes, I like having a car that people think looks nice and in my opinion, the red S looks great.
I think it looks really cool. There are lots of wing options, this is just another so I say make it your own and don't look back. Seems to me that you can switch back anytime you like if you really wanted to.
PS, i assume the two cylinders under the wing are the hydraulics...how do they work, meaning, what portion of the wing do they maneuver since the wing is 'always' up? Sorry if its a stupid question.

It's a two-piece spoiler. The hydraulics raise/lower the top half of the spoiler. The bottom half is fixed.

The hydraulics move the upper wing element "up" or "down" (flush with the lower piece) depending on vehicle speed.
