So, I received the last headlight yesterday. I have my lights. These things are expensive. I need to get two bulbs and a ballast and I am done with lighting. The C2S was but up high on jack stands this morning. I am inspecting brake components and rotors. I just did the rotors and brakes all the way around on my Cayenne S. I kinda want to do the brakes all way around on the 911 too. I am really looking to tighten up the suspension. Any ideas on how to do that please let me know.

I put a set of dba (disc brakes australia) 2-piece rotors on my wife's 9971. C2S. They have aluminum hats, are slotted, and even have temperature paint on the edge. Stopping power is great, they work well in the rain, and are just all around top quality brakes. Best price was from www.topbrakes.com mail order out of Syracuse. I went with slotted rears too - either OEM non-Porsche brand like Sebro, or maybe PowerSlot with the Black e-coating. Paired them with Hawk HPS pads.

Best bang for the buck suspension upgrade is the DSC (Dynamic Suspension Control) module developed and offered by TPC Racing. Since you have a non-Turbo Gen 1 997, you will also need to purchase the 3-axis Accelerometer that installed in the rear of the car near the DME and has to be spliced into a couple wires back there. In a nutshell, it gives you a completely programmabe active suspension that uses g-forces from the accelerometer to stiffen individual shocks based on how you have the table programmed and written to the control module that replaces your regular PASM control box in the passenger footwell. Lots of info and posts on this if you do a search.
Thanks to RL member Ivan I now have two working headlights for my project. The headlights are unusually expensive I think. But I tested them out on Saturday and they worked like a charm. I am taking the two fenders and the bumper out to a paint shop to get it painted. Can someone tell me what the paint code is on my sticker? This car came with the sticker and the window sticker too! All in perfect condition. I have decided to sell my E39 M5 (2001) and will be posting it up on CL soon. This I hope will fund my engine/tranny woes. More on that later.
Is the L39C the paint code? My car is Midnight Blue Metallic.
Wow, that's great. However I want at least 3 liters for my bumper and two fenders (front). I see they do touchup, will they order larger amounts? Thanks

I am almost there with the Brake job on my project. One problem though. How do I connect the hard brake line to the caliper? I have connected the soft brake hose line from the hard line coming from the master cylinder area. However the hard brake line (small curved piece with red cap) doesn't seem to line up to the connector on the caliper. Do I bend it and make it fit or is there an actual part to order. Here are some pics. I tried to find good steel lines but have been having a hard time finding some blue ones.
Should this be connected on this metal part?
Here you can see the hardline (with the red cap). Should it connect directly to the caliper? What will happen when the wheels turn? Will this snap?
It's off a bit.
nice clean master cylinder. It was very low before I started working on the brakes. They were all capped though.
