I just went with tire rack. No negative reports. Just having to mount/dismount to replace defective TPMS would negate any savings.

Additional update after taking off the winter wheels (which had them) and putting the summers back on.

I can’t recommend the IM Brand sensors to anyone that I purchased from TPMS 24/7. They would frequently lose signal while driving, sometimes it was ~5 mins before it would drop from being registered, sometimes it was a couple of hours and a few trips. They would always resync when I stopped and reset after about 3-5 mins, but would also always drop back off. The vendor thought that I was getting interference from my summer tires in the garage, but I had several times where I reset them while out driving. And they dropped again before I got home.

When I put my summer tires on, the wheels synced before I even left my driveway and have not dropped once in a couple hundred miles. I don’t know which ones are in there, but there’s a clear difference.

The vendor has had said that they will replace them, but I need to spend another ~$100 to dismount the tires to swap them in. The ~$50 I saved over the HUF ones looks minor now.

I may not get many opportunities the next month or two to drive much here in Minnesota, but I’ll be sure to post updates on the sensors.

I purchased 4 HUF sensors from tpms.com for $139, self learning, no issues and great support! Not affiliated, just pleased. Hope it helps for others in need.

I purchased four from tire rack. Self learning with no programming. $67/sensor. Huff brand.

I chose tire rack because I knew they'd be genuine and not replicas. Or Chinese knock-offs.

I installed Huf RDE048V21 sensors and drove about 40 miles and they are still not registering, Is some trick to getting these to link up? Their website says these are correct for the car.

Did you go into the TPMS menu and start calibration for new wheels?

Go into the menu and do it again just before you drive the car again. It may forget the reset when you turn the car off if it doesn't complete. On my '09, the car learns the new sensors before I'm at the end of my short cul de sac.

It takes longer to learn when you drive straight. Turning at speed will hurry along the process.

Porsche just quoted me $825 parts and labor to replace all 4 sensors. Given the issues some of you have shared that sounds on to me. Also sensors aren’t something I can put on easily myself.

My local Porsche dealer wants $270/each. So, I ordered from TireRack at $69/each.

After all that, I got it repaired on the Certified Pre Owned warranty.

Phew.

The Titans are still available at OEWheels for $140 for a set of 4. Any competent tire store can replace them for between $10 and $20 per wheel.

Every time I read about someone paying hundreds of Dollars to replace these, I just scratch my head.

I’m glad you got them replaced under warranty. $825, and $270 per wheel are prices that are insulting.

So do you all take the new sensors to the tire store and just hand them to the salesman that’s writing up the mounting order?
