Well, I didn't buy the tires there so it was just regular work to them.
I'd love to go to Cars and Coffee but this weekend is the Spring AACA down at Charlotte Motor Speedway. A couple buddies and I are heading down early in the morning and spending the day walking the car corral and cruising the infield for parts.
Should be a nice weekend (finally).

i bought the OEwheels tpms today, hopefully they are accurate...since all tpms are outsourced, i doubt they would go thru the trouble of making an inferior product.... seller seems "eh" with their pieced together site.. but if they work, who cares.

Thanks to everyone on this thread I ordered my set of 4 TPMS for my 2007 997 from OE Wheels for $141 including shipping. Had them installed for a reasonable price by Motorwerks of Houston who, by the way, are a gold star installer for Tire Rack. Really please with the price+result.

'12 TPMS
For what it's worth, Big O Tires just said the proper tpms for '12 997 C2S is 434MHz? Need some, $99 ea for theirs… Probably shop around, see what my friend at BMW can get me for some good ones.

+1 for OEWheels.
One thing to be aware of - be sure to dispose of your old TPMS sensors out of range of the receiver in your car. I put mine in the trash can in our garage and the car was sending errors that there there were too many sensors detected.

I got four sensors from OE Wheels for my 07 C2S, delivered to me for a total of $148. I removed the wheels/tires from the car and brought them loose to my local tire shop. They charged me $80 to install the sensors.
I re-mounted the wheels/tires, and took the car out. It took about 7 miles for the sensors to show readings for all 4 tires.
Very happy I went this route - even my local indie Porsche shop wanted ~$900 to replace them all (with Porsche parts, which is all they wanted to use).

I just bought some from OE wheels and had them installed at discount tires. How long do you have to drive for them to connect? I drove a couple miles and still not working.

Did you reset the system using the stalk? If I recall correctly, it doesn't automatically reset.
After you reset the system will learn the new sensors. I think it took my car less than a mile. 997.2
On a side note,
I bought the TPMS for my winter tires from Tire Rack. $350ish. It was worth it to me since they were installing the tires on the wheels.
Secondly, I store my summer tires in the garage next to the car with OEM sensors and I don't have any issues with the car "seeing" too many sensors.
