For those that wax often for maximum gloss and depth (once a week or so) what are you using?
What color is your car?
Are you happy with what you are using?
I've been reading a bunch on shine lately and have learned things that I would have scoffed at a few weeks ago.

My favorite wax for Black or Red cars would be Pinnacle Souverän.
On Silver I like P21s.
I have been hearing great things about Blackfire Wet Diamond but never tried it.
For Winter I use Collinite 845 Liquid Insulator Wax. This wax will hold up to anything you throw at it

Funny story... I only started reading and looking after asking the guy from detailers domain for a recommendation. That's where I purchased the 1z and I asked if he could recommend something that I might like better. He recommended this:

Meguiars Gold Carnuba is what I recently switch to from 1z. The difference was startling... and I was fairly happy with the 1z.
Funny story... I only started reading and looking after asking the guy from detailers domain for a recommendation. That's where I purchased the 1z and I asked if he could recommend something that I might like better. He recommended this:

Zaino here.
Z5 pro since I have dark car (macadamia).
I like Wolfgangs car shampoo, but use Zaino's for that, too.
Raggtop products on the top.
For polishes, I have a Flex, and use Adam's polishing system (polishes and pads)
With a couple coats of Zaino, I wash and detail spray every couple weeks, 2 bucket system, with a grit guard.
I dont use waxes, as the melting points are 160 or so, and those flash off here in PHX.
If you can't tell, I'm in to it.....

True but some waxes are so easy to use that it doesnt take very long to wax a car the size of a 997. And some waxes DO LOOK BETTER after they have multiple layers.

I've used many waxes over the years including Meguiars, Zaino, P21S, Zymol, Pinnacle and Mothers and my favorite thus far has been Pinnacle Souveran. When a Black, Black Metallic, Dark Blue, or Red car is properly polished I prefer Souveran to add the depth and gloss. I was never that impressed with P21S, not sure why its so highly rated. I did like Zaino but only on Silver and other lighter colors where depth didn't really matter. Zaino is super slick.
I have yet to try Swissvax, Adams and a few others.
