A Panamera flashed and waved at me yesterday. Took me completely by surprise because I didn't expect it. I waved back. Two OLD guys waving at each other. So it does happen with old guys too. I'd say 2/3 of the time 911s will wave, rarely, if at all the other models. Maybe the Panamera guy owns a 911 too!

 

I try to waive at any and all Pcars that I see. As a Boxster driver - I've noticed that it's almost exclusively other Boxsters who wave back. Other Pcars, not so much. Never had a woman waive back ever, although have only ever seen them in Cayenne's.

 

Haha! I'm middle aged at 45 and never waved young or now. At most i'll give a thumbs up or a nod, but mostly a bright flash for recognition.

 

I got a waive, a honk, and a rev from a boxster in my garage last night!

Ha, yes, I guess those cars don't like being couped up in a garage all day.

 

I flash the lights at 911s (all versions), Boxsters and Caymans. About half respond in kind.

 

i get more love from random non-Porsche owners than I do from Porsche owners.

I got a flash/wave from an air cooled guy recently.

 

I wave at all Porsche owners and about 50% return the favor.

 

I got and returned a wave from another 997 yesterday. He had a cool tag: NOLIF.

 

Yesterday I gave and was returned the light flash by a dark blue 991 cab. I wave or give the flash (yes, I know) to all Porsche car drivers, maybe not the Cayennes as often as the others since there are so many of them around.
