Porsche Owner Wave to each other?!?
Just wondering if fellow Porsche Owners still wave to each other when they see each other? I remember a friend of mine who had a 993 telling me that most Porsche Owners will wave to each other when they see them on the streets.
Just curious, I didn't want to do a Faux Pas, just in case...

I wave to fellow Porsche driver's, and get a wave back about half the time. I gave up on people driving Cayennes (mostly soccer moms where I live)

Air-cooled guys all wave at each other... water-cooled guys often don't wave back.

Waving at the water pumpers with your middle finger?
I wave/flash at all Porsches I see. Some respond, some don't, including owners of older cars.

I wave/flash as well. Statistically in my experience, 911 owners wave back 80% of the time. Cayennes/Boxers/Cayman owners, very seldom.

I get more waves in the 997 than I do in the 944, but agree that Cayennes and Boxsters are less likely to wave back.

I wave, flash, stomp my feet, and hollar!
Just kidding, but I do flash sometimes.

Traditional flash... mixed results. Long time p-car enthusiasts respond while new generation of owners usually don't.

I wave at every possible soccer mom I can. Amazing sometimes the amount of tail that can be initiated from a simple wave....
Not selective - I will even wave at soccer moms in Porsches.... wait, what was the question?

But seriously, waving at 997 drivers is a waste of time where I live. Newer Porsches are ubiquitiously owned by 20-somethings around Vancouver.
993, 964 and 3.2 Carrera drivers I usually will wave at but I rarely have a response.
I claim reverse descrimination!
