Installed the side bolster protectors I ordered from YseanY.

I didn't take pictures but you can see them here:

He does black or charcoal grey. Charcoal grey was a very good match with my stone grey sport bucket seats.

Took Red down to see the water on a winter day. The homes on the other side ~ the barrier island were destroyed by the ocean during Sandy' s wrath 10/30/13 and rebuilt.

Switched the rear emblem from the painted one it came with (basalt black) to a "titanium" colored one (darker brushed silver).

New "Carrerra S" floor mats from Lloyd Mats. Much plusher and the quality is excellent. The old ones said, "Porsche." Well, like, duh.

Oil change and spark plugs. End of warranty inspection
4 yrs and 41k miles. Still totally in love and happy
Sure, I'd love a 991 S targa or cab. But NOT worth my car plus barrel of cash

Just failed at trying to match interior SEM Color Coat paint to my armrest trim strips and just failed at an eBay touch-up paint match to my Lapis Blue. Re-orders in place, money back in one case. The SEM paint color choice was my fault.

Yeah I hear ya. Even a newer 997 is just too much money vs. the benefits. The difference between what I'd like to have (2011, 2012 997.2-S full leather PDK) vs. the car I own (997.1-S Tip) is $30k easy - and I'd likely get a car with more miles. Add the sweat equity in my car - no, she's 90% there. Not worth it! Makes me love my car that much more.

+1000. Can you polish and/or wax that film? What's the typical care and feeding of a full bra?

I'm investigating at least a front end bra. Years from now, I'd like to think my car will still polish down like I like it ...
