What did you do to your 997 today?

Zoefhaus Fresh of the camera...
Old:
New:
In regards to the actual steering wheel being thinner or thicker I honestly do not feel any difference other than the new wheel feels much smoother (less sticky of course)...
On the trim thing, I think the door handles are in between the new and old steering wheel but mainly because they are so different...
Not sure if this gives a good indication of the new wheel vs handles

Plasti dipped my lobsters. Looks pretty good from a distance, less so up close. I'll probably eventually get a professional two-tone finish, but this is a cheap way to see how much I like darker wheels on my car.

I was a blasphemes disrespectful owner. I drove my 997 in the.....
wait for it.....
........RAIN.
The weather in SoCal has been weird this month and I got tired of waiting for dry sunny weather so I just did my errands today in the light to moderate rain. Its just a car right? It wont melt or disintegrate when it gets wet?
BTW it's just going to force me to do a full summer detail in a few weeks anyway which is my self imposed bi-annual mental health therapy session.

No photos but switched out 6 year old Bridgestones for a set of PS4S. Soooo nice. I'm sure any new tire would have been an improvement but very happy to have so much less road noise.
Also, though I installed the exact same (stock) size tires, the Michelins seem perfectly squared up on the wheels whereas the Bridgestones appeared narrower and -stretched-.
