Today, well yesterday my local garage removed both rear mufflers
and tips, then I weighed them 48 lbs, today he's fitting titanium quad tips, total less than 4lbs (-44.5lbs and an alleged +18hp)
so now my full exhaust consists of stainless headers 200cel light weight cats and titanium bypass tips and that's it, so it's 50lbs lighter
and according to the manufactures of the replacement parts about 40hp more.
when I changed the headers and cat the car got quite loud,so it will be interesting to see what difference the muffler delete makes ;-)
Does any one have any suggestions on what i can do next (c2s 2006)
so far I have;
exhaust as above
light weight fly wheel and pulleys
clutch upgrade
82mm plenum and throttle body
induction kit
lsd
305 and 245 tyres

I'd also avoid the lightweight flywheel for streetability, unless you'll primarily be using it on the track.

You don't need a clutch upgrade. I'm putting down almost 500 HP on the stock C2S clutch and it holds fine. All a different clutch will get you is a grabbier engagement.

What have you done to yours to get the extra power? and have you got lsd?

My car is a 3.8L C2S based RUF R-Kompressor so supercharged and tuned by RUF. Also has s Fabspeed J-Pipe intake and complete Fabspeed valvetronic exhaust (headers, valved mufflers, & 200 cell x-cats).

Latest mod... to enhance the mood of an otherwise drab grey cabin at night... changed the lights to blue LED's. - The lighting is more agreeable and subdued in person than via the phone camera..
From outside, pitch black out and raining.
The camera has exaggerated the blueness somewhat

Have you done a timed 0-60 mph or 60-100mph? or another test I like is 30-100mph pull in 3rd so start off at 20mph in 3rd floor it with video running take it to just over 100mph then you should have a good 30-100 on video. obviously only do this on a track. I will do another one once car back from garage next week (would be nice for comparison)

Gave mine a bath to get last week's rain spots off. Spent extra time on the wheels. Hadn't washed them since before a spirited drive on two lane twisties to Coalinga. In other words, after all the shoulder exposure I was expecting the right side wheels to be dirtier. They were.
But also a bit greasy (all four were, but seemed more on the right). The left front axle boot was damaged when I lodged a couple of 5 gallon buckets of chip seal into the chassis while driving in Utah. That was 20 months ago. I guess it's time to pull panels and look at the right boot. 109K miles now and the left boot is the only failure to date (not the car's fault). Hoping to find no problem.
Anybody else have problems with the boots?

I haven't, but probably can. I've hit 100 crossing the dam (lake) before the entrance to my neighborhood many times before, as there's a huge hill on one side and a lake on the other, so no opportunity for anything to cross the road for that 1/2 mile stretch.
