Oil Pressure switch (2 times in 10 years now), clear front markers, refinished the ash tray lid and ordered climate switches (again).

FYI-got two great looking fan switches today, sent back. Should be fan/temp. This is the video I referenced for the switch R&R.

PPF was yellowing and beginning to come up in areas. The words to describe this process would not be appropriate.

I feel your pain! I started that removal process, realized what a huge headache it was, and promptly took it to my PPF guy who took care of it. After old PPF removal, PDR + paint correction, some new PPF and ceramic the car looks amazing though.

^^^^Ericson, from whom did you purchase the replacement temp/fan speed switches and the LED side markers? Are the side markers the same colour as your LED fog lights when lit?

Installed the Porsche Classic PCCM in my new to me 08 997.1 C2S. It's expensive but I feel its worth it. The old head unit was archaic and I am so used to having Apple Carplay. Thanks to all the info on rennlist it was a super easy install!

Did you have BOSE already?

Did you have Navigation with the factory unit and is that a carry over to the PCCM or is it a new NAV with new maps ?

GPS antenna goes where for PCCM unique NAV?

Did you go for SIRIUS XM, and where did you decide to place the receive antenna?

1) Yes, I have the Bose system
2) The factory NAV unit does not carry over. The Porsche Classic PCCM does have navigation, it requires a MicroSD Card that costs approximately $130. I decided not to add it because I primarily use Apple Carplay which has Waze / Maps
3) The Porsche Classic PCCM does include the GPS antenna. After reading a lot of the DIY's out there I decided to mount it to the top of the head unit. There is a tray that it fits on perfectly and from I read it doesn't have any issues picking up a signal.
4) I don't use Sirius XM so I didn't install the antenna.

Hope this helps!

10pm, kids are asleep, wife's on Netflix, what better time to replace a broken fog light and install radiator grilles.

I finished up yesterday, Heat gun, goo-gone/alcohol and eraser wheel. Followed by a full polish and ceramic coat.

Finally changed out the windshield washer pump…not really a fun job. Small second project…90% alcohol and no more visor labels.
