Leader Greg in his GT3.

Group from Cars and Coffee SB

Variety out enjoying the quiet roads on an early Sunday morning before the end of the year.
Ten of us from our local Cars and Coffee group went out for the New Year's Eve and flogged our little cars...

Of course, we never went over 65mph...

IPD Plenum install with larger throttle body, a Christmas gift from the Mrs.. Beautiful, dry South Florida day for some 0-100 runs to break it in. Happy New Year!

Default Installed Softronic Tune

Awesome upgrade…My 2009 PDK C2S has a performance center muffler delete exhaust system with aftermarket air filter elements. Scott is great to work with and extremely helpful. The entire process took a few days and was easy to complete when you follow instructions. The results are impressive the power seems more linear with a responsive smooth build in RPM and ultimately power. My C2S has Sport Chrono and shows marked improvement in all settings normal to Sport + you can’t stop grinning. A no brainer for a performance upgrade.

Default Very clean!

Washed, clayed, paint correction (as best I can do) with Meguiers 105/205, wax with Collinite Liquid Insulator Wax #845 and a final wash to remove all the dust. Looks great and I love how the water just sheets off the paint.

The wet look.

Getting dark outside but the car is dry and looking good.

^^^^^^^^^^^VERY NICE lisnter. Lovely shine. Not familiar with those products. Did you use any buffing equipment help or was it all elbow grease?

Default Products

Hi Johan. I used a random orbital that I picked up on sale. It's not a particular brand I recognize but it was cheap and I didn't have one at the time. The Meguires/Coliinite were recommended products from a number of YouTube videos I've seen and from other postings I've read. I don't have any comparison points other than these products were mentioned more than once and in my use they seem to work well. The Meguires polishes went on quickly and easily with the orbital - the 911 is pretty small - and then I took it off by hand. I applied the final wax by hand.

That can't be a common occurrence in SC, can it? It finally got back up to 50 F, and sunny, here in DFW. So, I took a quick 50 miles spin in the 997.2S to get the engine to temp, and clear my head...T
