Excellent choice. That looks very rewarding.

Two 997s with upgrades this past week:
I swapped black wheels for GT3 style wheels (black 911 Carrera S) for a different look (compare to avatar). My Dad installed the Eibach pro kit and Fuchs style wheels on his car (white 911 Carrera). First picture is pre-Eibachs, they really tighten up the look and handling.

This happened to my odometer and tripmeter at a stop light last night. Kinda freaked me out, wasn’t planned or anything. Unfortunately, not on my 997, but on my winter daily, an 07 Saab 9-3 Aero.

That's the Porsche gods telling you that you're driving her the way she should be!!

Costco run. It was P-cars ahoy!! Half a dozen others in the parking lot, including a sweet Guards Red Cayman R that I parked next to (yes, for once, I had be "that guy"; had a great chat with the owner). A yellow (sand beige?!?) Cayenne too...T

Tucked the car in for five months and started a new project.

What are your plans for the wheel? Looks like a lot of buttons and switches in store?

Looking great!

These center caps would really suit your car:

In addition to left, right, high beam and horn. I’m planning on adding an Ecliptech P2 shift light, PSM, PASM, hazard and Alarm switch. I’m hoping there are enough contacts in the clock spring but I’m thinking I’ll have to make do with just the alarm and shift light. I’ll post a lot more detail on my build thread over the month when I get going on this.

New to me two weeks. Drove it pretty hard for a "newbie". Twisty's and canyons near me. I now get it more each time I take it out what the "Porsche Experience" is. Love it. RJ

No but that "adapter works mechanism diagram" is gold for anyone who wants to run switches to an aftermarket steering wheel. I wish I would have seen this before doing all of the connection IDing myself with a multimeter. That took an age:
