Installed a set of Sport Exhaust Tips on my '12 C2S. They are a bit larger diameter and stick out a bit further than the stock "S" tips. Why? I like the look.
Have to admit I would have never thought that gold would work with the lobster forks - boy was i wrong - I'm am really digging that - looks fantastic !! Nice execution
Took the green car out for two passes of East Mercer Way -- 2.7 miles each direction, 50 turns. You don't have to go *much* over the 25mph limit to have a rewarding drive.
Just wiped off a weeks worth of insect carcasses from the front of my car after a 5 day 1500 mi road trip. We went from San Jose to Palm Springs then Las Vegas. From Vegas we went to the Hoover Dam then Red Rock Canyon, Death Valley and stopped in Mammoth Lakes. We finished yesterday through Yosemite taking CA 120, which is a fantastic road, to 580.
The car is amazing, 2012 C4GTS, ticked over 25,000 mi on the trip. I bought it in 2015 with 5000 mi coming off a 3 year lease. I picked up the car in Oregon at Porsche Beaverton, at the time we were on a road trip to Vancouver from San Francisco, I dropped my 2013 S4 off on the way home as a trade in and drove the GTS home
The car is PDK, which is what I wanted at the time as my only car driving around San Francisco and dealing with the Bay Area traffic. I have since picked up a 2016 Golf R as my daily and the GTS is a weekend pleasure car. I sometime wish it was a 6spd but not enough to trade it for another 997, the 991 does nothing for me except the GT3. I'd love to pick up a 964 or an SC someday but garage space is an issue lol.
