The tip length I recorded in my purchase spreadsheet was - 4.5" x 3.75" Stainless Oval Exhaust Tips and the eBay seller back in 2013 was car.emb.guy1. Our connection point diameter would be different though as my wife's car is a C2S 3.8L that has the larger exhaust pipes compared to your C4 3.6L. FVD sells an adapter to make the smaller non-S pipes the same diameter as the S-pipes, but I would just pull off your tips, measure the OD of your pipes and then find a tip with the proper attachment diameter and similar dimensions to what I listed above.

New to me 997.2
A week ago, on my way to LA from the bay area, I dropped by at an independent dealership in Mountain View and checked out a high mileage (100k) one-owner 997.2 in Meteor Grey M/T. Drove it, read all the maintenance receipts with Porsche Walnut Creek. I decided to pull the trigger and asked dealer if I can leave it until I get back since I was on my way to LA..
So today, I got it, drove 30 miles with smiles all over my face. With all the creature comforts and buttons that my older 911 does not have, I was learning during the process of driving it home during rush hour traffic at 101 towards SFO airport on a Friday. Oh when I went to put gas, I realized filler was on the right and no taggle to pull to open the lid, lol. Compared to the 915 tranny, the 997 M/T is night and day of course.
So there goes my first modern pcar experience.
filler on the right, lol
rallycross stance lol. looks like eibachs are on my bucket list
Ice breaker
washed and dried
lowered vs 4x4 stance lol

Well it was actually yesterday, but I basically beat the crap out of my car at a PCA NNJ, car control clinic. What a blast!!! Skid pads, slalom and panic braking. Highly recommend this. Cars of note that were present: several GT3's, GT4, a , Suprisingly, there were even a couple of 993's.

Spent the weekend at Mid-Ohio Raceway with the IMSA races, enjoyed the Porscheplatz and the great work of all the pca volunteers. And Yes, I enjoyed the laps on track.

On Saturday, May 5th, was the annual Southern Arizona PCA Cinco De Mayo Concours. I almost received a perfect score in Street Class with my 2011 911 GTS, but some dirt was found in the engine compartment - 0.1 deduction; 239.9 out of 240.
It's always a great event and I was in parked next to the 959 (Display Class) that resides in Tucson.

Started the day at EASY's cars and coffee in Emeryville. Got to see a bunch of beautiful air cooled cars but the highlight was the GT3 Touring. Its the first time Ive seen it up close and its stunning.
Ended the day with a very, very nice sheriff lady saving my bacon.
I went for a quick rip on some back country roads and got stuck behind a motorcycle with a girl hanging off the back. I had visions of her falling into my wheel well so when the road opened up I passed them in a passing zone. Right after I pulled back in the right lane I looked over and saw the sheriff sitting right there. By the time I saw her, cursed a few times, downshifted and hit the brakes I was still doing 87 in a 55. I knew I was pretty well cooked.
She followed me for a mile then pulled me at the next stop sign. She was super nice and had a look on her face like she wanted me to say something so she could let me off. I made some excuse about not feeling safe behind the motorcycle and I told her to be gentle with me. She laughed and walked back to her car to run my license. When she came back I didnt see a ticket in her hand. She admitted she hadn't actually clocked me but knew I was going very very fast. She told me to keep it in check and have a nice day in my "fancy car". I asked her if I could give her a hug. She said no...

Cleared the multiple cylinder misfire error codes from the last time I washed my car. Made appointment to have it looked at, I'm thinking it may be a cam or crank sensor getting wet causing the errors. Just back from Mid-Ohio from the IMSA races 911 and 912 did well, then in the later stages of the race 912 dominated and won GTLM Class with 911 dropping back to 6th in class and Wright Motorsports GT3s finished 7 and 11 in GTD Class.
