Sleeping in a 62 degree garage at night, no crazy warm up procedures. When I start it up leaving work, I wait for the RPMs to drop, about 20 second, and don't break 4k RPMs until the oil is at least 175.
Wow! I was not aware that such severe Global Cooling had hit South Florida.

Since my wife stole my daily driver, Ive been driving my 997 like it was a daily driver in the LA traffic. Its like my favorite comfortable shoe.....a really cool shoe. Its actually dirty from speeding though some puddles. Gives me an excuse to get up early and go the the car wash.

Default New wheels

Took off my factory painted lobsters and replaced with Rohana RF-2's with titanium finish. I think it looks much better...

Did the change to the 997.2 keys solve the pocket trunk pops? That happens to me all the time and it drives me nuts. If this is an easy solution, I'm all over it. If recommended, can you give me a few tips like where to buy the key blanks (ebay?) and how easy was it to switch all of the parts over to the new key fob? Thanks.

Aftermarket billet aluminum would be awesome! And while we're at it, a folding design would be nice.

Now, who has the resources to design and market one of these? I bet you could make a nice chunk of change...

Brake sensor light came on so I replaced all 4 rotors, pads, and senors.

The front pads and rotors lasted 45K.
I was still on the original rear pads and rotors at 90K.

This is on a car that is a daily driver and monthly autoX.

Decided to go with OEM senors, Textar pads, and Zimmerman rotors.

All rotors had a significant lip on them from wear. The brake pad sensor hole was worn through on the left front wheel.

Replaced the ratty old zinc plated lug bolts with new anodized black bolts. Ah, that's much better!
