I've been going back/forth and back/forth (and back/forth) with regard to converting to the LED taillights and I think I'm slowly coming to the same conclusion. I really like the more slightly old school look to the incandescent housing as compared to the more modern LED housing. Both look great but I think I too prefer the originals.
Though... I'll likely change my mind again in a few minutes.![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

Switched out the stock Amber side indicators for LEDs. Bought a side/fog/rear/head light tint package from LAMIN-X. Did the sides first to test out the process since they are easily removable. It looks absolutely terrific. Very subtle which was what I was going for.

+1 for 997.1 love. My DRL LEDs didn't last more than a few months. Love the original and slightly old-school look.

Last weekend I installed Adaptec spacers (7mm/15mm) but the cool part was using my new Jegs NASCAR-ish super duper jack. My old jack from Lowes required that I use a scissor jack before I could even insert the Lowes jack. Now I have two jacks which means I can do the 997 on four jack stands thingy with relative ease.

I don't understand the fascination with head lights, marker lights, tail lamps, etc. outside of keeping them clean. I suppose if I regularly travel long distances out in the boonies I might upgrade my head lights but the rest, I don't get.

Lunchtime drive with Wayne Smith in West Marin.
I know that it is nasty on the Right Coast but man, NorCal has been beautiful. Here is to some of this sunshine and warmth making its way to our brethren (and sisters!) on the East Coast!
P.S. I've posted a close-up of Wayne's Midnight Blue deck lid. Even though the rear of his car was un-clean, the color was deep and rich and looked so purdy!

Thanks to David for getting me out.
Did see other Porsches and a couple Lotus cars as well as the expected Corvette or two. A great Presidents' Day to be outdoors here on the Left Coast.
