I'm travelling to the US in May and was wondering which parts from american manufacturers I could buy and bring in my suitcase. Is the Numeric Racing shifter very bulky? Any other parts I could bring with me?

Take a look at some Rennline and flat6 motorsports stuff.

I looked at the 997....thought about taking it out for a drive. My transfer case fluid in came in for the Cayenne, that will get done tomorrow, not exciting but necessary.

@Graufuchs , tell me about the pattern on the ceiling of your garage. Is that LED lighting up there?

@Wagon Master Yes LED lighting for detailing. They work great and really light up the garage.

Love your garage space! Are your wheels a type of gunmetal color? I also have a GR 997 with CH-R's, but in silver. I was thinking of having them painted in a gunmetal-ish color. Do you have an outdoor pic you can share to see how the color contrast looks with your wheels?

Car.looks great with the Morimoto taillights, new front bumper lights, and the RUF wheels. 👍

Extremely simple. Large light pops off. Two screws underneath. Then it pulls back and off. Two garage buttons just snap off and over to new housing.

Where did you get yours? Aftermarket? Didn’t know a crest was offered there from the factory.

@Rhern213 Many thanks! Here is an outdoor photo of the wheels mounted on my other 997:

Very nice, one of my favorite aftermarket wheels for the 997.

I went for a second try to get the cruise control activated, but even with a new cable PIWIS was still unable to write settings to the DME. I've now made an appointment at a different workshop in the hope that they can figure out what's going on.

Yes, you can access by removing the mid bass speaker and a few of the metal door panel fasteners.

Significant reduction in road noise and mid bass sound quality with mine!
