I should post in fairness to Frank that after sending yet another reminder through a different email address, Frank did finally refund the money he had promised me for shipping a set of tail lights to another customer that were sent to me by mistake. Arduous process but at least he was true to hs word.

Have you guys noticed that not all LEDs light up with Dectane when the brake is pressed - sort of like "C" shaped vs Rottec lighting up the whole back light.

I just got my set of Dectanes. I ordered 12/3/11 and goods arrived 12/28/11. That is how long it takes. Very similar to everyone elses experience. I put them on without too much hassle besides losing one of the Phillips screws in the engine bay. They look absolutely fantastic. I will post some pix soon.

Contrary to what I expected though, rear of the car still looks distinctly different from the 997.2. I guess because of the shape of the lights. LEDs just gives it an upgraded look. Clear sides markers and front DRLs next. Fabspeed air-intake and exhaust upgrade is planned.

With Dectane's, it is a 'C' shaped pattern of red LEDs that light up on breaking. Somebody here had pix. With RotTec lights, everything lights up. I think the Dectanes are closer to stock 997.2 system. Quality of the latter is outstanding. I was impressed.

Thank you Surathrdp! Those lights seem to do wonders for that beautiful rear-end.

I thought I likes the 'C' but that looks good too. I'm on the fence with this mod only because I like to keep the outer appearance as stock as possible. That doesn't make sense because I have no problem making changes to the exhaust at least the sound. Great pic!

I love dectanes! and with the front LED DRLs I feel the car just entered the 21st century!

dectanes are so close to 997.2 OEM in looks and quality. a great upgrade for sure.

I just got mine and installed them last night. They really do look great. I will post pics later. I actually like the look of these lights better than the droopy eye look of the 997.2

Now time for the fronts. I heard I need a box for the daytime lights to work on them or something. Please let me know all I need please so I can get these things ordered and finish the look.

I got the front LEDs but they didn't come from rotec's group buy. my car is an early 2005 and I didn't need resistors. I don't have any warning lights...

For a few seconds there I thought both cars were .2s. The lights really update the look
