How did I miss this thread from June? I'm lurking every day. Love the LED's on everyone's cars. Looks like one of the best mods so far.
I jumped on the bandwagon and ordered a set last thursday and figured I'd give the car a nice detail today in anticipation. Just to be tidy (****)... Removed the tails and cleaned out the cavities.
Mine is an 06 so i guess it's gonna be crap-shoot on whether i'll need to install the resistor pack.
i'll be all over front LED's if they become available.

they should arrive this coming week. i'll post a few pics then.
As for the resistor packs on my 06, i plan to connect the cable to both lights (but not install them), then run threw the lights to see if i get an errors on normal lighting and then operate the fog light. if i don't, then obviously i won't need them and i'll use one of the previous suggestions and tape up the resistor wire to keep water out.
If I get an error, the resistor packs go in and i'll velcro or double-sided tape them to the back wall like someone suggested for a nice clean install.

Some older 2005 needs them, you will get an error on the dash. I have not heard about LED's burning out.

I never needed any additional resistance packs for my RotTec rears. It's something they sorted out before shipment. Never had a problem with them in that respect.
