Why did I take it so hard? Well, it's one of those things I dreamed of, worked hard for and with a large cap cost down to hold it low until I wanted to purchase it since I spec'd it the way I wanted it. If things went bad very early (car wise that is) I would have returned it and ordered a new one.
Now, I do not think I'll be able to do this again, at least for the type of C2S I did unless I run into some real luck in the future. I'm not young anymore so time is not on my side.

For several years, you got to drive one of the best sports cars ever made. Thats something a very large percentage of the population can't say.
And honestly, you could always pick up a nice older Boxster S. It may not be a 911 C2s, but you'll still have the porsche experience.

You're putting your family first and your dreams in the back seat for awhile. Don't beat yourself up, it's part of being a man. Your wife and children are proud of you. Make the best of a less than ideal situation and try to be thankful for what you have. Easier said than done for sure..........
Chin up Deanski.

Just $715 a month? I'd sell a kidney or a naughty child first to cover that.
On the other hand now that it's gone, you can enjoy more time with your wife and not have worry about making payments.

I have the greatest respect for people who have lost sons or daughters. I can't even imagine the pain it must inflict on a parent, and hope I never have to find out. Good advice c4consult. It puts things in perspective.
