Can you post a before and after pic and details (H8 etc.) of the fog light bulbs?

The factory bulbs really should match better to the OEM xenons.

I was to lazy to make pictures, but the lights look much better now. I did not like the lack of match (for example when looking in rear mirror, or oncoming traffic when other cars lights did not match, it looked odd to me).

I think Hoen is great.
I ordered the license plate lights yesterday. Hoen said they will ship the first week of January.
Can't wait to get them. Although I'm up to my neck in snow...so the 997 probably won't be seeing any streets for awhile....

I would have to agree with the original poster - perhaps they're not a "fraud," but they definitely provide ****-poor customer service. I purchased a pair of HID Bulbs from them.

One of them was DEFECTIVE (i.e. it either failed to light or flickered off, even when I stuck it in another ballast).

They promised me a replacement...3 weeks later, nothing. Every time I sent them a polite email, I got an excuse or the runaround. They finally just stopped responding.

Interestingly, their website doesn't even have a contact phone number.

What a waste of money. Their HID bulbs are actually DIMMER than stock (to me) and they obviously have a problem with quality control (not to mention dicking their customers after they have your money).

Who is Hoen anyways? I've never heard of them as a Bulb supplier.

I've done business with Powerbulbs and they are absolutely fantastic! They got the BEST bulbs you can find from reputable companies and haven't had any issues with em.

Maybe it's the luck of the draw, but I've been buying bulbs from Hoen for 5 years - never had a problem with the products or with customer service.

somebody change the title of this thread. In this day and age, calling something a fraud with the limited evidence presented is not only inflammatory but potentially libelous.

i bought hoen bulbs for my p-car and for lexus and had no issues with them at all. goo dproduct and normal service. not sure what this thread is about.
