Look nice!

Do you use your fogs much? Needed brighter lights?

I haven't turned mine on yet.

Thanks, based on your research I'm doing that as well.

OCBen: what about the late night "june gloom" in the O.C.? That would be fog light weather on the coast - no?

I did the same - replaced the fog lamps with Hoen bulbs and replaced the high beam bulbs too - I believe they were Hoen H-11's.

Is there a 'fog light' conversation coming on??

Besides aesthetics, what do these bulbs offer---is your range any better? I'm really impressed with the ability of the lights. I live in the 'country' outside of Toronto and lately the weather has been everything-rain, snow, sleet, fog, warm, cold and the lights have definitely added 'safety' to my drive to & from work. I think I'll keep my bulbs until I need to change them. Unless I feel bored one day or I feel like wasting money and addind to the collection of 'mod' scars on my knuckles

I live in an area where there are very few street lights and can get very very dark. Having the fogs on gives me more light. I've always hated how the fogs were a totally different color. This looks to resolve that issue.

I don't know yet if these provide any value other than aesthetics, but I'm assuming that they don't. They were a very in-expensive mod that in my opinion makes a big difference.
No knuckle scaring on this mod either. Took me all of about 10 minutes to replace the bulbs, take the pictures and post it. Very very easy.

Hmm, where did you get them and how much? I'm a sucker for all the little mods like the clear corners et al.

http://www.hoen-usa.com

$29.99 plus shipping for 2 H8 bulbs.

They also have the 997 lighting package which is bulbs for the fogs, running lights and side markers for $54.

These bulbs are excellent and very easy to change. My drive to the office in the a.m. is before sunrise on mostly street lit roads. I only use the fog lights, no need to even turn on the Xeons. Just a note.....I believe from an earlier thread that these lights were meant as "driving" lights,....the purpose I use them for. They do not provide the projection of the Xeons, but certainly provide ample light in my situation during the pre-dawn hours. Recommend the change!

Nice idea - bogus ordering system. If the online order process fails..you call to find out the order processing contractor can't take an order?! They want you to restart your computer and try it again. Sorry... If you can't take a simple order; you deserve to loose the sale.
