No...never!
A couple of years ago I parked at a hotel at Niagara Falls (Canadian side) and I paid the valet guy a nice BIG tip to let me park in a covered space outside the hotel for the week. Their regular valet parking lot was outside and uncovered and didn't look too safe.
If I can't park it, no one will. I'll just go somewhere else.

I always use valets at hotels or restaurants if available. The only damage to my cars have been when parking myself and some idiot next to me dinged or scratched my car and left without a note.
