Weebs is an old nickname given to me by some of my buds. My last name is Waddell, which became Waddle very quickly to smartass friends. When we were playing football, I got knocked straight into the air and landed (dazed) on my feet. A smartass friends quipped "weebles Waddle but they don't fall down." (remember the "Weebles?" They were kid's toys...)
Weebles was then shortened and I became Weebs.

When I was in high school, I was known as the guy who didn't curse. So I started calling everyone a bum if they did something I didn't like, so everyone of course started calling me Bum. Video games and arcades were also very popular then and for those old schoolers out there, you could only use a 3 letter initial to post your high score. Since my initials are very generic, I started using BUM so that everyone would know who it was. The name has stuck around and I still use it to this day.
