Default sourcing a right tail light

Hi,

I've got a crack in my right tail light and it's starting to error on my dash. Where's the best place to source a replacement?

Input appreciated.

I like sourcing used parts on EBay as long as item is well described w/ good photos and seller has excellent 100% feedback.
Ebay probably $150-$200 for nice condition used one.
New tail light would cost u $350-$400 from Suncoast or similar P-car supplier.

Here's one on EBay for $250 or offer. I'd offer $175

2009 C2S 185K miles

What year is your car? The .1 and .2 tailights costs are very different.

Peace

What Bruce said. Also, if a .2, you might as well buy a pair as you'll need the other side soon enough. The lens seapares from the body allowing moisture in and then the light fails. There's a 997.2 owner in the Facebook group that's on his 3rd or 4th pair of lights on the same car. My brother got CarMax to buy him 2 new ones at $800 each when he bought his 997.2 a few years ago.

Thank you for the 411! It's a 2009. So, yes. Will look at getting a pair.

When you buy, let us know where and cost.

I have a crack in one of my taillights. I think a detailer put his hand on it to support his weight. Not very visible and no water.... yet.

Peace

This... I have a 2009 and I have noticed just a little moisture on the driver's side taillight about 5 washings ago

I try not to spray directly on the taillight and didn't have moisture, but I know it's only a matter in time.

Good luck OP.

Pelican has one .2 light for $869. Yep... you read that correctly. Only one, not a pair.

.2 are hard to find right now w/o deep pockets. Have to be persistent and resourceful. Contacted a dealership that said they are showing as inventory on the way from Germany within 6-10 weeks. This went on for three months with no change. Finally, posting and refreshing every few weeks as WTB parts listing turned one up, (Thx.again Rob!). Good luck with your search.

Those are .1 lights, the OP needs a .2 right rear light.
