Is there a difference between the white harness/USB cable and blue harness/USB cable? This is my first time ordering a stereo with no instructions or wiring diagrams. Thank you for the help.
Finally got mine all installed. Odd I spliced into the cigarette lighter for auxiliary power, woke up with a dead battery. Maybe just coincidence and something was left on. Let's see tomorrow morning.
Nice! It should sit tighter. The top should be under the vent base and the bottom should be very tight to second stack. Loosen the silver screw to the upper outside right of the cage, bend out the 4 metal tabs to 30 degrees, push the unit in with the top angled first, whole unit should then be placed tight. Lastly, tighten the screw until it secures the unit in place, do not over tighten as this will cause the unit to be uncentred.
Darnit all woke up with a dead battery again. To much of a coincidence that I ran that new wire to the cigarette lighter wire. It must be drawing power even though the radio turns off, bummer.

the factory cigarette lighter switch is always on. if there is a power draw on it, it will use the battery.
almost all android units do - it will be connected to the android harness that has rear camera input , as well as power + ground (which can be used for both cams)
