A manual 977.2 is a unicorn. Seems like they all came with PDKs. I looked/waited for a 5-6 months and found nothing that interested me so I got a 997.1 instead.
My pet hate in ads is for non boosted cars, they list as "aspirated" all cars are "aspirated" some naturally and some not..

The manual take rate on GTS models was close to 40%. I suspect it's close to that same percentage for the rest of 997.2's. That would equal thousands of manuals produced. Everyone speculates but when the take rate was calculated, it was much higher than thought. Sorry, but a manual 997 while desirable, is not a unicorn.

I would speculate, the much more exclusive (driver orientated) GTS buyer pool is not the same as the "regular" 997 customer. Especially new buying from dealer when PDK changed the world as we know it.

Us driving enthusiasts will defend our MT unicorns to the death ; - )

FYI, Dot Two production numbers are much higher than anyone has guessed at 212,704 total (Global). See attachment below.

Posts in the thread linked below estimate 10-20% of 997.2s were MT. No sources though. I do remember a thread with a quote from a Porsche source, but my pre coffee search skills can't fish it up.

Today 997.2 is as rare as the Rolex Daytona Platinum 😜

You came right back at him without really looking at it. I pointed out what you missed.

If I was being an *** about it, you would know.
