YES!!! Drives me nuts. Are the people posting those dumb and don't know the difference or are they smart because they know they'll get more clicks and maybe even pull in someone one the fence?
A manual 977.2 is a unicorn. Seems like they all came with PDKs. I looked/waited for a 5-6 months and found nothing that interested me so I got a 997.1 instead.

The manual take rate on GTS models was close to 40%. I suspect it's close to that same percentage for the rest of 997.2's. That would equal thousands of manuals produced. Everyone speculates but when the take rate was calculated, it was much higher than thought. Sorry, but a manual 997 while desirable, is not a unicorn.

FYI, Dot Two production numbers are much higher than anyone has guessed at 212,704 total (Global). See attachment below.

Posts in the thread linked below estimate 10-20% of 997.2s were MT. No sources though. I do remember a thread with a quote from a Porsche source, but my pre coffee search skills can't fish it up.
