given I haven’t seen any for sale. All good of course as the main thing is how 997s drive on the twisties!
there are a lot of leather door panels for sale on Ebay and they are not too expensive:

just don't be the guy (or lady) replacing the doors and not doing the dash. The dash's leather stitching flows into the door panel:

and while you're at it, don't forget your rear panels too, which are covered in leather.

Dash is so hard to do though. I will never get that far.

Does the glass have to be removed in order to install full leather dash?

Not to my knowledge. But I assume it will be squeak city unless done right costing $$$.

I’m looking for leather shifter trim and door spears, will give the Heavy Smash guy a try!
My care came with “aluminum look” vents which are also leather wrapped. Very underrated upgrade.

FYI: Heavy Smash Guy doesn’t respond much via email and even then, with little useful info. His eBay site doesn’t list much for 997s either. But hey, there is a pandemic still going on so patience is key I suppose.
Regarding the slew of leather interior options owners elect to do, it’s certainly subjective what looks good and/or is worth the $$$. Not being snarky here.

Ok...

Now that I've lived with my leather console for a few weeks, I think I prefer my painted one that matches the exterior just slightly more. This is purely subjective, as I have been yearning for one of these for a couple years. But surprised in myself that I like the color match style just a bit more.

So if anyone's interested in a black leather console, I may consider taking this one out and swapping back to my original.

This makes me sad…my leather console is one of my favorite interior mods. That coupled with the new leather side panels and 991 steering wheel really bring the interior back to life

I have a cab else I’d be interested. Personally, and no offense, I’ve never cared for exterior matching interior pieces BUT know others do. All subjective as noted before. If thinking of selling anytime in the near future, you might talk with others to see which helps the most. Course your opinion is what matters most!

I am not sure but you should see if that small cubby that's behind the console is removable...I think that's the main difference. You can probably easily have the whole cut in the console for the cab switch, assuming the price is right obviously. I paid $1700 for my console with all the extra bits.

To add - if your car has any number of miles on it, this is an OEM console, unlike many of the aftermarket ones talked about. So it will match better with the rest of your leather.

The inside of the arm rest is covered in alcantara actually - it's pretty cool.
