Default My PPI report came back today

Apparently this 911 was able to carry more than 3 passengers!

One of my 996 C4s's had evidence of mice chewing wires in engine compartment. Apparently fairly common since warm engine bay is nice place to set up a home.

I don’t see anything that would worry me assuming the mice didn’t chew wires and cause electrical damage. Tires are a wear item and the clutch switch is a pretty easy DIY fix (if you want). If the car ticks your boxes I don’t see anything here that’s alarming for an older car.

Thanks @Tkersting I guess the only thing that gnaws at me is that the 40000 service was not done for the spark plugs and air filter (.car has 45k). I definitely need the air filter and element done since it sounds like it was a mouse toilet. Would I be unreasonable countering with getting the spark plugs done too?

How the hell does a mouse get into the cabin air filter? Tight quarters would be an understatement to begin with and at least to me that compartment would seem almost intrusion proof save for small bugs with wings perhaps.

This is a great example of why I don't jump on board when people start saying that a PPI is critical to any purchase. There really isn't anything on this cursory PPI that OP couldn't have observed during an inspection.

Cabin air filter is at the opposite end of the car.

You should do plugs and coil packs if they haven't been done in this cars life. You're also entering the water pump failure mileage range (45k-65k) so be prepared for that. I would also check the coolant expansion tank for hairline weaknsoots that will become leaks. Change that when you decide to do the water pump as you have to empty the system anyway. New serpentine belt at that same time.
