Do Not Buy from Kurt At Dr911.CA - You will be scammed

So I'm new to the 944 world, of course, I research everything before buying, except this time...
bought a window regulator, took over two weeks to come, found one way cheaper elsewhere, by the time it finally came I tried to return it, gave me the runaround, I sent it back to the exact address on website, didn't hear from him for a bit, I finally reached out with pics of tracking info, he said he never got it and can't find it
I have the exact time and place it was dropped off! Not sure if I can do anything, this seems so crazy!
plan to file some complaints

That's right, I emailed him several times for RMA, finally he got back to me and said to use the order # as RMA
order #, original packaging, documentation, etc..It even got back there on time by 2 days
Don't waste my time, ouch! (500 bucks)
sounds like all you guys have experience with this douchebag, I can't believe at my age I fell for this!

He also scammed American Muscle Car buyers out of 100's of thousand$
Here's an old news article but I believe the total this POS has scammed is over $1,000,000 US.

I purchased a windshield washer fluid sensor from him with no problems. It was such a low-dollar item, I did not bother to check on his reputation. I always check up on vendors new to me but not when it was such a small item.
Peace

Ebay’s behavior with high dollar volume sellers is questionable. They cleanse feedback too (this may be illegal manipulation by Ebay). MAY be ;-)

So update guys, after threatening fraud claims and opening up UPS Investigation, I checked my account and money(minus 25%) was refunded to my account, I wonder what actually got him to budge, I'm still running far from this company in the future, thanks for all the feedback

u got lucky - never again
after your refund clears you should ask him is he has any early 911's he's selling that he doesn't own.

The item came, but after almost 3 weeks I didn't need it by then(I found one much cheaper) so sent it back with "restocking fee" according to these posts, I'm lucky,
yes, my next purchase from him will be a sweet vintage rare 911!

Happened to me too
He is definitely still at it. I read this thread after ordering and the only way I got my merch was to call a claim in to Visa. That worked and I did get my stuff. Man this guy is asking for it. Check out his IG, next level

EBay has tried cracking down on scammers. They have changed the way the selling process works.
Now, a seller has to register his bank account with EBay and buyer's payment doesn't get sent to seller until buyer has received the item purchased.
Sounds good for large ticket items however there are lots of scam BUYERS and they will claim wrong item was sent or item damaged which will present all sorts of problems for sellers.
EBay used to be a fun place. I have sold many Porsche 356 parts and Vintage Airstream Trailer parts when EBay started in 1999 and sold lots of items until 2008. But I would never sell anything on EBay these days.
EBay takes a huge % of the sale and I don't trust buyers these days. Scam town.
