Its great you found a "summer driver" this quickly. I really like the stance of your car and am also a big lobster fork fan. I may even put them on my car we will see. Enjoy.

I also drove to FD Motorsports to have Darrin do my exhaust within a month of owning my car.
I really like the sound
Darrin is a cool guy and super easy to deal with. I have also talked to people who dealt with shipping and say he has it down to an exact science.
Highly recommended for the non-PSE people out there.
I can add this funny thing that happened when I was getting my tint removed right after I got it, a dude was in there with a 997.2 GTS. He had the PSE with center bypass. When they pulled my car around, he got up and walked to the front thinking it was his car. I had just gotten my Fisters, so I didn't think it was my car. For those of you out there wondering if my life is usually this exciting, yes it is.

Fister raised their prices it looks like. Was around 5-600 prior but I got the coating to help with heat. Now its 700. That was on my old 997.1, gave to my brother, now have a 997.2. Can ask for a clip if you would like. Akers charged a couple hundred to put on.

Will still come over, think you are in the red as far as drinks go with the BAT thread.......

Yep---> Drinks on me ---> but don't forget, I foot the bill for our lunch last time.
...And still can't figure out why performing surgery takes precedence over our Porsche phone conversations?

You should check out Soul Performance Products for their incredible valved exhaust sound. Absolutely love mine. This is a video of my '08 S right after the installation:

jamesinger's video post in this thread is a very good example.......

Any video of sound?

Most of my aircooled cars have had PSE which is the best throaty sound and nice to be able to turn off/on even though it was in "on" position 99.9% of the time
One of my 996C4S's had a FVD Brombacher Level 2 exhaust kit which sounded good

All the best

Really sounds very similar to the PSE factory exhaust note. I checked out the Fister website---> $1103 including shipping ---> they refund $600 core charge when I send back my muffler after removal.
So figure about $600 when you factor in the $65-75 shipping cost to send mine back
Sounds like a plan

Do you just really enjoy paying sales tax? Ive never seen anyone make more rash decisions on cars.

You must be a dealer/flipper right?

Quad ---> Since your Butt hurts I'll answer ya:

I used to keep my old aircooled cars for a long time but then as I gradually got into the watercooled I've enjoyed checking different models out.
No not a dealer or flipper.
Even if you had a small grasp of the Porsche market, you know there's no money in buying/selling in the market today unless it was a long tern hold.
And I don't know anyone who enjoys paying sales tax including myself.
