Default SD card question

Hi all
Getting ready for a road trip (hopefully)!
first post.
Have been lurking for about a year. To celebrate my youngest daughter's graduation from college, I will be spending a year of tuition on me. Currently have a deposit on a very loaded 2009 4S cabriolet, Very exited. If it passes the PPI next Thursday I will be able to join the Porsche Club and will need to fly out and drive the 450 miles back. Therefore the question. ...
Have searched but would like the easy answer
What is the maximum GB for the SD card and what is the limit to the number of songs and files can it support ?
(The easy answer is "just listen to the engine with the top down")

Have driven several in test drives but always with the radio off.

The 2009 4S I am hoping to get has the high end Bose and ancillary input.

The bonus question is what is better, MT or PDK? Gen 1 or Gen 2? Which tires? JK : /

2009 C2S 132K miles

Its a USB stick, not a SD card and there are limitations... I hit 'em. The more files you put on there, the slower it gets but it does work and fairly well. You should consider remapping some of your steering wheel buttons if you are going to use the USB stick.... and carefully consider your folder layout before you start dumping stuff onto the stick.

Your PCM manual will have information... ask around you can find it online.

Does the 2009 have PCM 3.0?

i would just get a usb Bluetooth receiver with 1/8” aux out to stream from your phone... cheapest and easiest solution I could find.... you do have to open the center console and turn it on (hit play) whenever you get in the car after 15 min of the ignition being off... otherwise this has worked great for me and even switches between a phone call and thee music streaming on my iPhone without issue...

here is is the one I have:
Mpow Bluetooth Adapter with 1... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B075JBLGLB?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

Buy the iPod adaptor if it doesn't have one. Then get the Bovee 1000 (
Link Link
). It works amazing with iPhones, streams music with titles to the headunit and allows the headunit to control the iPhone, all through bluetooth. Still lets the PCM connect for phone calls as well.

I also keep an iPod in the center console and a 30pin to lightning connection if I ever need to hardwire.

Thanks!
Looking forward to the road trip.
After reading everything, will do the blue tooth or for short term get my old I-pod that was hooked up to my previous 2008 Audi set up. Technology seems very similar.
