Default A/C control re-finishing

I am sure this is on here but what is the best place to send my A/C controls to get re-finished. Want them to look as close to factory as possible.

lol. indeed.

What a can of worms.

Here is my $.02.

You can:
1. buy a whole new HVAC from a place like Suncoast or off eBay. There are some crossover fits from model to model IDK.
2. MA Carbon refinishes them. People seem happy. https://www.macarbon.com/
3. Climarepair is super controversial on this forum. They are 3D printed...you get what you get.
4. Get a model nerd friend to repaint them for you.

Personally, I got climarepair as a holdover while I send my switches out. In retrospect, I probably could have gotten a new HVAC for that price in the end. The climarepair switches are NOT OEM quality but they are fine to have in your car while your finish your OEM switches. Doing the work is easy after doing it once even for the fairly mechanically challenged.

Google results on this site will give you more reading than you'd ever want.

I'll save you the drama. You can always buy the OEM switches or you can get send your cores to MA Carbon. Contact John @ MA Carbon.

I was coached to use a black magic marker. Can be completed in just minutes. Consider this option especially if you can read temp and see the fan symbol.

Sticky buttons should be a 'sticky' as it comes up a lot.

Hello jamesinger, this is not updated, correct information. What we sell nowadays is Climarepair revolution, which are NOT 3D printed buttons.

Best regards
