Post ‘em!

I assume you’ve got centerlock wheels. There are lots of helpful threads here on how to properly remove and install centerlocks. It’s quite easy. Don’t let the centerlock naysayers scare you.

Oh, you know I've got the centerlocks. I actually consider them a pro rather than a con. (Seriously, do people not realize lugs require retorquing at 100-150mi? And that studs and lugs require replacement every few hundred track miles?) The black wheels just didn't work for me - but TireRack does have the O.Z. Challenge 18s in black on closeout.
But here she is, in all her dealer shot glory.

That's a bad A$$ ride. I almost test drove it when I was there A few weeks ago for service. Congrats.

Thanks!! More importantly: thanks for not!
Seriously, this one was not gonna last. I'm positive the first person to actually test drive it would have taken it home.

Beautiful. And I'm with you on black wheels on a black car. Too much black in one package. Sounds like you're thinking about getting away from the big contrast of the silver wheels though. To me, splitting the difference is the way to go. A blend of black and silver. Some call it "gun metal" and Forgeline which I have on my current GTS calls the same basic blend "midnight silver". I'm sure there are other names on the same theme but you get the idea. Closeups on my current wheels attached. The real thing is actually a little darker than in the pictures.

Oh god no. I LOVE the silver/black contrast. If anything, I'd probably go with matte painted silver with polished lips. (Seriously. Something about that setup has been hot since the 80's and it ain't ever gonna change.)

Problem is: the O.Z. Challenge wheels were only ever made in black, I tend to like more sidewall, and those are the cheapest (and basically only) 18" option I've found outside of custom order or used GT3 Cup. And yeah, a full wheel and tire package with those costs less than just two used GT3 Cup wheels.

Thanks for all the well-wishes! Since she's not under my hot little feet yet (you can tell this because I'm here and not driving the last off the tires) is it OK to share the dealer pictures?
Congrats on your C4GTS! I know your frustration trying to tell anyone with a drop down menu vehicle make and mode and year. Only a few sites that have it in their database.

Black wheels will will make your car faster so don’t be afraid of those.

porsche did make midnight blue for the 997.2 gts

Seriously. That thing has gotta be 1 of 2 or maybe 3. Seriously, if it has a gray interior too, congratulations on making the switch to black-on-black just as soon as I find you. (Plus it's cheaper than Chrysler PC6/CC6.)

And oh yes, MOAR C4GTS HIPS.

Well, and the 408HP. And the centerlocks. But who could possibly want more power and to not have to replace all their lugs and studs every time you go to the track?

I always felt the same way. Must be that the wing takes away from the curves of the rear quarter panels.
