Nah, that would involve disclosing the facts. You know, the ones he tried to delete when his know it all self bit him in his butt. He's a fraudster. Whether the american justice system makes it economically feasible to prove that in court or not doesn't change the underlying facts. gnat laid out the facts quite succinctly. He hasn't and can't and therefore won't try to dispute them. Instead he'll either ignore this post or deflect some more. He's able to search for a new Porsche but responding to well organized factual assertions? That's impossible because of a hurricane. But search for a car? Sure, time for that. Huckster fraudster scammer all around bad guy.
And extanker, not sure what your deal is, but Jeff served man. He served. Don't like him? Fine. But stop pretending he didn't serve.

To bring things to a serious note from all the tomfoolery:
At the time, I thought it was very interesting "thinking outside of the box" for KK to have built his cheap hybrid IMSB. Seems like a lot of research went into it, and the concept seemed logical. After all, there are TONS of common cheap items we vastly overpay for because someone has marketed them differently. Ex: Bayer aspirin ($5.00/50) Vs Costco ($3.00/1,000), Of course, in retrospect, it didn't work out as well as hoped. I think a refund for the car (less roller value), and an explanation of the events would have averted all this.

Today, I drove mine for the first time in a few months. Rain finally cleaned the salt off the roads for the most part.
Question for the group. What do you think a lightly used set of gold E88’s with excellent PSS would be worth?
18x8.5 / 18x12 (245f/315r)

A few years from now a 6-speed ANYTHING is going to be very rare. Tiptronic is a weak excuse for a tranny. PDK is an engineering marvel but the Tiptronic tranny is usually not going to help you at resale time either.

I'm pretty shocked by this sentence of yours:
"...Tiptronic is a weak excuse for a tranny..."
RL people may still wonder and debating (on paper) Do buy 997.1 TIP S or MT just because of the (ridiculous) sentences of your kind of saying. why?
997.1 with two pedals and steering control came only with TIP S (based on electric brain and torque-converter)
997.2 with two pedals and steering control came only with PDK (based on electric brain and dual-clutch)
Assuming I'm looking for only 997, in my opinion, TIP S (the latest version of TIP) is better than PDK V1 (first version of PDK). For a number of reasons. PDK is awesome. But true for the period of 2008 - which was not PDK, TIP S is the best you can get on the platform of two pedals and control steering wheel (and of course, should know how to drive right with TIP S in M mode ..)
The conclusion from your sentence is the opposite.
For illustration purposes. For the same reason, you can also look at the differences between TIP S in 997.1 and DSG and the like, PDK 1 in 997.2 and PDK 2 in 991 and the new MTC transmission in AMG and Koenigsegg Regera Without A Gearbox!
On the other hand, you can also say that the PDK V1 is "old", primary, expensive to maintain, difficult to repair, unreliable, dual clutch slips after 60-100 KM and more .. Is it still worth more than TIP S?
Do not forget, even the PDK has 2 pedals and M mode D mode and control from steering wheel and to TIP S has the same thing (the technology is different and changing, and depends on the period).
Bottom line: Tiptronic S is not a weak excuse, is an excellent transmission system. Fun and strong in a straight line and on a racetrack (997 in M mode / 997tt in M or D mode) - not less than 997 MT.
It's true that the future is going in the direction of 2 pedals and steering control (both racing cars and GT3 RS/GT2 RS).
And it's also true that a manual transmission system is enjoyable in its own way - and no one will take the magic of a manual transmission system. However, it is also possible to enjoy very much with 2 pedals and manual control of the steering wheel.
In a few years, people will probably drive and learn to drive with only two pedals.
Then, in my opinion, and many more people, TIPTRONIC S will be worth gold. As happened with 993, and even more..

Since our previous debate joined the forum another 3-4 RL with TIP S who do not know the "eternal" debate.

For open roads the TT takes the win, for twisty backroads and fun the S takes the win. The TT is fast and if you are on boost, on a twisty back road it’s on the edge of disaster. I say that as a guy that raced bikes and just got a 1299 Panigale S and always has high performance bikes. I test drove a manual TT and you just can’t use all that power out in the hinterlands BUT on a open road or highway it’s a time warping spaceship. It puts your eyeballs in the back of your head.
