Liking those pccb. Was that a factory option, or did you add it? How do they compare to the 991tts?
Factory 1 of 7 for Canada, 1 of 76 for North America in 2003.
I like them; the 991 is a more evolved package, but a couple years ago I did the pads, lines, pucks, flush and when I measured the 996s discs, about 1/10th of a mm wear...

An alternative (and easier) approach to measuring wear on PCCBs is by simply doing a visual inspection and comparing it to the below. Surface roughness > 80 is due for replacement (and they will start chewing up your pads, but pads are not too expensive unless you go to the dealer).
> The newer generation of PCCBs need to be measured with a specific laser device (usually at the dealer) and do not wear like this generation of PCCBs on the 996/997/CGT
Lots of options today with Surface Transforms rotors, rebrake, etc. PCCBs are great, this prior generation specifically as well

My discs are in lovely shape, no visible wear on them at all...
Thank you Sir, and yes, I was very surprised to find out how rare - I figured there were 60 - 70 of them in Canada alone, and was even more surprised to find out it was rarer than the 2005 S.
i have a chip on one of my PCCP rotors, i'm hoping one of those services can fix it. It's not enough to make it unusable but still, would like to fix it if I can
