Haha, I asked the same question before buying. So far the spoiler works fine but I’m mentally preparing myself for the potential fixes down the road if/when it does end up failing.

If you have issues, talk to Kevin at UMW, he's got a great solution for this issue, and will keep you going for a fraction of the price of new, other rebuilds or replacement systems! And he's a hoot to talk to.

Thank you, that's helpful to know and I'll plan to reach out to him. I may just have it done proactively and be done with it. No way do I intend to pay the dealer $3k plus to have it fixed, and only temporarily at that!

Very nice, the red belts look great. Enjoy.. Sounds like you are indeed going backwards. Almost 2 yrs ago, I also picked up a 11k mile cab. One day later the spoiler pump blew, to date that's the only issue experienced (did normal maint items, plugs, coils, fuel filter, all fluids changed out). Would recommend checking to see what maint was or wasn't done..

Something seems very off with the clearance of the front suspension... my stock '01 TT sits much lower at the front.
I think the black rocker covers and lip are just creating an illusion on the ground clearance.

I checked on the price $79,995

They have an impressive selection on their website. Several turbo 996s and a 2005 GT3 as well. Not much there that I don't like.
