Those Sport Technos look so different when painted in the body color (factory option). Don't think it would look right in the lighter colors, however.

has anyone seen this basalt black on black aerokit car on eBay? 33K miles...very very nice looking Turbo rolling on a set of HREs. The "Buy Now" is $62K and change. Chicago based.

It was listed on the bay area craigslist for 50k a month ago. Looks like they bought it and trying to make a quick flip.

That would explain the SharkWerks sticker - I think a safe bet is that it was modified, then returned to stock-ish.

I can't believe I don't recall this car...it's not like I'm not perusing Bay Area CL at least once per week for Porsche 911 Turbos.

Yep it was definitely on there. It was also on ebay for a short while and I'm assuming thats when the dealer purchased it. I was looking at least once a day on bay area CL for a 996 turbo and ironically I found my car on the other side of the country.

I couldn't find one here either, mine came from San Diego. Although it was originally purchased in Fremont and owner #1 lived in East Bay

Don't think they're hip to the BAT and current market.

Room to move on price also.

Dang.. Now I want to figure a way to buy it.. Might be able to turn it and make a buck of two.

Well, everything worked out with the consignment sale of my 997 and pass-through purchase (with sales tax credit) of this 996. It just got delivered this evening!
