This car appears to be the top of the market for a 996 TT, X50 etc. I cant see it ever really losing value, but then again I would be really careful about putting mileage on it.
yes, but you're comparing a 8k miles tt to a 12k mile gt2. of course there will be a gap there, but what about a 'driven' gt2 - maybe 40-50k miles? at some point, a low mileage tt starts to reach the next model in value and that would be a gt2. as we both stated, what do you do if you buy it - drive it or store it? storing a standard tt - with the numbers made/available - seems a bit of a stretch. this owner may not have driven it much, but that doesn't necessary make it 'collectible' in everyone's eyes. an 8k mile Pacer is still a Pacer.

RNM at $90k my point still applies. A porsche GT car is always going to be a GT car.

Agreed! But I guess that could be swapped out...It'd HAVE to be if I were to buy it.

I like wood in my furniture not in my turbos. 😄

Another gorgeous 996 Turbo on BAT...

https://bringatrailer.com/listing/20...-911-turbo-19/

2003 six speed coupe with 19K miles... Looks to be all stock and in immaculate condition.

Bets on hammer price?

Looks to be tuned, but I didn't see any mention of that in the advertisement.

I'll actually bet the Black turbo goes for lower than others we've seen recently - it has sofas and doesn't have the X50 package. Time will tell though!

...but it looks to be in amazing condition. You know my philosophy of condition over options, but very possible the BAT collective has a different perspective.

I'll play with a guess of $55K. I think there is some serious 996 turbo fatigue on BAT these days.

I agree with you, personally. I just have noticed that sport seats and X50 bring out the crazy offers.
