Ok maybe I got overexcited. Still at $75k it sounds like a great deal to me.

Sold for $96k, $101k including buyers premium. Pretty good number for a car with paint work. Still a great buy in my opinion at that price.

16k mile aerokit manual turbo s sold at Gooding Monterey auction last night for $205k, $229,600 after buyers fee. Has to be a new record for a 996 turbo.

Interesting. This was the second Turbo S Coupe to hit North America, and it had previously sold for (or was listed, anyway) for $120K with a mere 81 miles less than the odometer is showing now. Someone made a good flip....

Imagine if it was true museum-level miles, like one or two thousand, and a special color combo, like PTS and Interior to Sample. That would be how much, four or five hundred k?

I doubt it but you never know. I could see high $200's though.

Yes maybe $400k is too much. But $3xxk maybe. This guy was asking $250k if I recall correctly.

Imagine one like that with a custom interior from the factory like houndstooth or a special leather color, plus divide the miles by 10. Probably that's a car that wasn't even ever built, but if it did I think it would be past that mark.

https://collectingcars.com/for-sale/...-996-turbo-s-3

This was the best Turbo S deal I have seen in recent history, PTS and all. Fantastic price whoever bought this made a good decision.

Love seeing the market realize the 996 Turbo S exists and what a gem it is
