This one should be interesting to watch. Nice color combination and presentation.

BaT is a blessing/curse for 996 Turbos.
On the blessing side, they are a seemingly inexhaustible source for really nice 996 Turbos.
On the curse side, if you don't already have one, they are likely in large part responsible for the big run up in prices.
Two more great examples, in Polar Silver and Seal Gray

Wow the interior on that Polar Silver car looks like half the miles it has.

And also if it didn't need $10,000 in front suspension work. It was a "reserve not met" at $69,696. It is beyond me how you can expect to get top dollar on BaT by offering a car with a serious maintenance need.

As it should, seal gray is phenomenal on these cars. My manual (my first 996t) is seal and it's just subtly beautiful.
I cant help but wonder if it would have gotten ~$95k on turbo twists. Not sure what these sellers are thinking listing on gaudy 19s.

I keep two sets of rims for my cars. Personally I have no desire for two sets of identical turbo twists. My summer tires are on one set and my winter tires on the second set. Also gives me an opportunity to change the look during the year; but at least I stick with the stock size. When I shop for a car, the rims are the least of my concerns. I’m looking at options, maintenance records, drivetrain condition, absence of rust, paint condition etc. I do recognize some present buyers can’t see the car for the rims. For them I would mount the stock twists if I was selling. I remember years ago a couple didn’t buy a beautiful lake house because the wife couldn’t see past the paint color on one of the rooms. These current Porsche buyers remind me of them; bid on a 6 figure car but comment on something easily changed.

Mmm, this one looks and is spec'd very close to my '03 except I drive mine (50k) and retained the original interior. It's making me wonder whether I should limit my miles or buy another?
